Sara’s Smiles Foundation began with a simple goal: to create a warmer, more positive, and more empowered experience for children diagnosed with cancer. For years, we did that by delivering our Inspiration Kits—special care packages filled with items designed to bring comfort, encouragement, and a smile to pediatric oncology patients and their families.
Today, our mission has evolved, but our heart remains the same.
We now provide grants to organizations that share our passion for uplifting children with cancer while they are in treatment. By supporting these organizations, we can help expand the reach of programs that bring moments of happiness, connection, confidence, and hope to children and families during an incredibly difficult time.
Inspiration Kits help cultivate a more positive environment and frame of mind for children who are fighting and surviving cancer. Each Inspiration Kit is designed to be durable, portable, practical, and fun. Our kits contain a sampling of the resources found on our website- items that can help families stay organized, connect with others, and explore creative ways to encourage smiles. Whether in the hospital or at home, we believe that engaging children not only brightens their spirits, but empowers them as well. Sara’s Smiles donates Inspiration Kits to pediatric patients in the many hospitals with whom we are partnered and also upon request free of charge.
